Yesterday my manual wheelchair broke. I went on amazon to get a wheelchair and found this on sale. I couldn’t believe the price,as well as the fact that I could get it delivered “next day” on Amazon Prime for an extra 3.99. Talk about one purchase making Amazon Prime a bargain! I ordered it immediately.
The wheelchair arrived early this morning. It came in a box assembled, folded, well wrapped in plastic with the footrests in a separate box. It was simply a matter of cutting open the box, taking off the plastic wraps and unfolding it – and then putting on the footrests.
One thing I noticed- the wheelchair runs a bit narrow. I’ve seen this on reviews of the chair online, so I knew, but don’t fudge your size. The 16 inch is smaller than other 16 inch chairs I’ve used, but it fits me okay, but I’m short and fairly small.
The wheelchair itself is well made and looks nice. Shiny chrome with black upholstery, padded arms and tires. Very comfortable to sit in.
Thank you Amazon for getting me out of a pinch with your fast delivery and manager’s special on this medical item that so many people could find helpful! Let’s face it- at this price it beats renting a wheelchair and since it folds, it can always be kept as a backup and/or passed along to someone in need.
